Bu-Ma farm

Hello, everyone, welcome to 中平elementary school. I’m ________. I’m ________. Today, we want to introuduce 中平elementary school for you. Do you know Happy Farm? It’s a famous online game. In the Happy Farm, people can plant vegetables and flowers. In中平elementary school, we build a real farm here, called Bu-Ma farm. In Bu-Ma farm, we use organic farming instead of using conventional chemical fertilizers and pesticides. For example, we use leaves and food waste as compost to plant vegetables. Besides, we collect rainwater and use it to water vegetables.

We plant carrots, celery, and coriander in September. After harvest, we will use these vegetables to make delicious food, such as Hakka carrotcake and hot pot. In April, we plant sunflowers and give sixth graders as graduation gifts in June. Now, I want to ask you a question. Does Bu-Ma farm need to take a rest? (停頓3秒) The answer is “yes”! We stop planting in summer vacation. After two months, Bu-Ma farm will be full of nutrients to make the vegetables grow better.

And now, let’s take a look at the rabbit garden. Here, we build an animal area, where six rabbits, one rooster and one hen live in. We set up a board(手指食草圖鑑) to instruct students in feeding the rabbits. Students can not only enjoy feeding the rabbits but also can weed the garden.
